CINCINNATI (WKRC) — Planet Fitness is once again launching its High School Summer Pass program, giving teenagers free access to its gyms during the summer months.

Now in its fifth year, the initiative encourages teens to stay active and focus on their well-being. Young people aged 14 to 19 can work out for free from June 1 through August 31 at more than 2,700 Planet Fitness locations across the United States and Canada.

Since the program began in 2019, Planet Fitness has contributed over $300 million by waiving membership fees to support teen health. A company-led national survey found that 66% of parents worry about their teen’s mental health, and 72% believe regular exercise can improve it. The study also showed that 90% of teens feel happier after exercise, and 93% say it helps them cope with everyday challenges.
