Nordic Strong, a training concept from Copenhagen, will make its U.S. debut this summer with a pop-up studio in Sag Harbor, New York. The temporary location will open ahead of a permanent studio planned for Manhattan’s Flatiron District in the fall.
Founded in Denmark in 2022, Nordic Strong is a workout system inspired by Nordic values of movement and simplicity. Central to the program is a patented machine that imitates cross-country skiing. This machine combines low-impact cardio, strength, and mobility training in more than 50 workout variations.
Nicoline Roth, the founder and Copenhagen native, said Nordic Strong aims to “create a space where people can reconnect to their bodies, build resilience, and move with purpose.”
The studio offers three types of classes:
Nordic Strong – Signature: Combines machine intervals with dumbbell exercises to target abs, glutes, arms, and shoulders.
Nordic Sculpt: A slower-paced class influenced by Pilates, focusing on precision, control, and mindful breathing.
Nordic Cardio: A high-intensity workout designed to boost endurance and VO₂ max.
The Sag Harbor pop-up will run from Memorial Day (May 2025) through Labor Day (September 1, 2025) at 11 Bridge Street. Classes cost $50 each. A free introductory session is available, and there is a special offer of three classes for $84. Each class is limited to 20 participants.
