Meghan Trainor made a noticeable change to the lyrics of her popular song “All About That Bass” during a live performance, reflecting her recent weight loss journey.
On May 10, the 31-year-old singer took the stage at iHeartRadio’s KIIS-FM Wango Tango concert in Huntington Beach, California. In front of the audience, she altered one line of the song. Instead of singing, “Yeah it’s pretty clear, I ain’t no size two,” she performed, “Yeah it’s pretty clear, I got some new boobs,” as shown in a video shared by KIIS-FM on Instagram.
Trainor had hinted at making this change earlier. In November 2024, she revealed on her podcast that she planned to get a “boob job.” By March, she confirmed the procedure on Instagram, sharing that she had undergone breast augmentation surgery.
Along with her cosmetic change, Trainor also shared that she has been using the weight-loss drug Mounjaro. After giving birth to her second child, she wrote on Instagram that she has been working toward being her healthiest and strongest self for her children and herself. She mentioned working with a dietician, adopting new lifestyle habits, exercising with a trainer, and using medical support like Mounjaro to assist in her weight loss journey.
“I don’t look like I did 10 years ago,” she admitted, but added that she feels great.
Trainor also discussed her fitness routine, revealing that she now focuses on strength training with her husband. She previously struggled with cardio exercises and running, but has since learned that her body responds better to weightlifting. “I know now that my body enjoys lifting weights, and it doesn’t make you big and bulky,” she explained in an interview with Women’s Health.
This marks the second time Trainor has shared her transformation journey. After the birth of her first child, Riley, in February 2021, she lost 60 pounds in a healthy, gradual manner. “I did it the healthy way, the long way, the one pound a week way,” she told People in 2023, calling it an accomplishment she never thought possible.
