24 Hour Fitness is offering a new summer program to help keep high school students active and healthy during the school break. From June 1 to August 3, the national gym chain is providing discounted memberships to students aged 14 to 18.
To qualify, students must have a parent or guardian who is already a member of 24 Hour Fitness. The sign-up period begins on May 15 and can be done online or in person at any participating gym.
“Summer is a time when many teens lose access to physical activity and social engagement,” said Raphael Konforti, Senior Director of Fitness Business and Operations at 24 Hour Fitness. “By offering gym access this summer, we’re giving them a space where they can stay strong, supported, and inspired.”
The discounted memberships offer full access to cardio and strength equipment, free weights, group fitness classes, recovery programs, and the 24GO app, which includes thousands of guided workouts.
“We’re not just offering a membership,” Konforti said. “We’re providing a space where teens can feel empowered and motivated every day.”
The program aims to address the concerning trend of declining physical activity among young people. According to the World Health Organization, 81% of teens worldwide do not meet basic activity guidelines. The gym chain hopes that by offering easy access to top-tier facilities, group classes, and digital workouts, they can help reverse this trend in a safe, welcoming environment.
