Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor, 44, recently shared details about her fitness routine and daily habits. In a candid interview with Nod magazine, she talked openly about her career, family life, and how she maintains her health.
Kareena said she never skips her workouts. Since becoming a mother of two, she has changed her routine significantly to prioritize fitness. She described her schedule as “almost monastic.” The actress explained, “I eat dinner by 6 pm and go to bed by 9:30 pm. I do my workouts early in the morning before the world wakes up.”
She added that her friends understand and respect her routine. “They know not to expect me at parties because I prefer to stay home and watch ‘Schitt’s Creek’ quietly,” she said.
Kareena also spoke about why exercising is non-negotiable for her. “If I don’t work out, I’m in a bad mood. After COVID, I realized fitness is important not just for looks but for my overall well-being. It keeps me balanced and grounded,” she explained.
On the family front, Kareena said they enjoy cooking together. “We love spending time in the kitchen — Saif, the kids, and I. Saif loves Kerala cuisine and often tries new recipes like idiyappams and coconut stews. But I need one proper Indian meal every day. That’s non-negotiable,” she shared.
Regarding her professional work, Kareena is currently filming ‘Daayra,’ directed by Meghna Gulzar. She stars alongside Malayalam actor and director Prithviraj Sukumaran. Her last film appearance was in ‘Singham Again.’
