Performing 62 shows a year takes a lot of energy. That’s exactly what reggaeton artist Rauw Alejandro faces during his 2025 Cosa Nuestra World Tour. But staying in shape is about more than just the tour. He needs to be in top form all year long to give his best performance.
“For me, exercise is very important to keep balance in both the body and mind,” Alejandro explains. “My life is crazy, so taking time to go to the gym is essential. It helps me stay focused, gives me energy, and keeps me healthy and in a good mood.”
Because his tour schedule changes constantly, he has to stay flexible with his workouts. When he can work out in the morning, he follows one key rule: always start with burpees.
“If you do burpees first thing in the morning, you conquer them early and won’t be fighting with anyone else the rest of the day,” he says.
Alejandro also includes Muay Thai-inspired sparring in his routine. He has practiced this for about five years. The sport’s rhythm helps him keep time during his performances. Between each exercise, he does one-minute rounds of sparring.
His workouts focus on full body exercises to get a strong overall burn every time he hits the gym. Here is the cardio-heavy routine that helps him stay physically and mentally fit:
Rauw Alejandro’s Full Body Cardio Workout
Burpees: 8 to 10 reps
Sparring Round 1: 1 minute between exercises
Pull-ups: 3 sets of 10 reps
Sparring Round 2: 1 minute between exercises
