Filmmaker Rakesh Roshan has shared a video of his rigorous workout routine, demonstrating that age has not affected his dedication to fitness and discipline. In the clip, the director of Krrish easily moves through boxing drills, leg exercises, weightlifting, and training with balls and battle ropes.
From stretching to performing heavy leg squats with weights on his shoulders, Rakesh completes every exercise with strong determination and passion. He works out alongside his trainer in the gym.
Rakesh posted the video on his Instagram on Monday, writing, “It’s not about being healthy — it’s about feeling your best every day.” Actor Anupam Kher responded in the comments, writing, “Har har Mahadev!” Suniel Shetty showed his appreciation with a heart emoji. Meanwhile, Vicky Kaushal’s father and action director Sham Kaushal commented, “Kaya baat. So inspiring. Rakeshji.”
In related news, Rakesh Roshan recently announced that his son, Hrithik Roshan, will direct the next Krrish film, titled Krrish 4.
Sharing a photo with Hrithik, whom he affectionately calls ‘Duggu,’ Rakesh wrote on Instagram, “Duggu, 25 years ago I launched you as an actor. Now, after 25 years, two filmmakers — Aditya Chopra and myself — are launching you as a director to carry forward our most ambitious film, #Krrish4. I wish you all the success in this new role with my good wishes and blessings.”
The production house Yash Raj Films (YRF) is co-producing Krrish 4 with Rakesh Roshan.
Expressing his happiness about working with Aditya Chopra, Rakesh said, “It brings me great joy to see Adi as the producer of Krrish 4. He was the one who encouraged Hrithik to take on the director’s role.”
He added, “Hrithik and Adi working together as director and producer, with me supporting them, is a rare and exciting creative team. I am confident they will create a theatrical experience for Krrish 4 unlike anything India has seen before.”
Filming for Krrish 4 is scheduled to begin early next year. Further details about the project have yet to be announced.
