1. Overhead Cable Triceps Extension
This exercise mainly works the triceps. It also strengthens the arms and helps build muscle. To perform it, stand with your back to the cable machine. Hold the rope handle with both hands behind your head. Then, extend your arms fully upward while squeezing the triceps. Return to the starting position and repeat.
2. Cable High Knees
High knees activate several muscles including the hamstrings, quadriceps, calves, glutes, and hip flexors. This exercise also improves endurance, balance, and coordination. Attach an ankle strap to a low pulley and face away from the machine. Lift your left knee toward your chest while your left foot stays behind you. The cable adds resistance, which engages your core and hip flexors more.
3. Lateral Jump Squats
Lateral jump squats are a powerful lower-body exercise. They strengthen the glutes, quadriceps, and hamstrings. This move also enhances balance. Start in a squat position, then jump sideways explosively. Land softly into another squat. Alternate sides with each jump to work your muscles and boost agility.
