OHIO & MICHIGAN — Primetime Fitness, a leading Crunch Fitness franchisee, has announced a major expansion across Ohio and Michigan with the addition of four new gyms. This move is part of the company’s ongoing efforts to grow its footprint in the Midwest and offer more fitness options to local communities.
The expansion adds a total of 101,806 square feet of gym space to Crunch Fitness’s regional presence. With these new sites, Primetime Fitness will now operate 23 gyms across the country. Each location will undergo major renovations and upgrades, with completion expected by August 2025.

All four gyms will carry the Crunch Fitness brand and receive major facility enhancements. These upgrades include $1.2 million worth of new equipment, expanded Relax & Recover areas, redesigned floor plans, new check-in desks, and refreshed graphics and signage.

The expansion is also backed by CapitalSpring, an investment firm that partnered with Primetime Fitness in December 2023.

Crunch Middleburg Heights – Middleburg Heights, OH
Crunch Monroe – Monroe, MI
Crunch Ann Arbor – Ann Arbor, MI
Crunch Ypsilanti – Ypsilanti, MI
Primetime Fitness was founded in 2016. The company now operates gyms in Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, and Tennessee.
