Men who use Ozempic, a popular injection for weight loss, have reported an unexpected side effect: they say their penis size appears larger. Many users have shared their experiences on social media and online forums. They claim that since starting Ozempic, their private parts look bigger. Although these reports are anecdotal and not scientifically proven, they have sparked active discussions. Dozens of men say the drug has boosted their confidence and caused physical changes. Experts have yet to study this phenomenon, but it is gaining attention as a surprising possible benefit of the weight loss treatment.
One Reddit user wrote, “I recently measured myself and noticed I gained about one inch. Some may say it is because of fat loss. However, I was thinner when I measured myself four years ago. I pressed down during both measurements. Has anyone else noticed this change?”
Another user shared, “Yes, I gained 1.5 inches in length. No joke. I know how long I was before I gained weight. After about seven months on Tirzepatide, I gained 1.5 inches. This is definitely not all from weight loss.”
Some men believe the increase is due to better blood flow and less fat around the pubic area after losing weight. However, one Reddit user suggested the size difference might be due to other factors, such as temperature or arousal, during measurements, rather than the drug itself.
He explained, “I feel like people are not fully understanding. They blame weight loss even though the first measurement was taken when the person was lighter. Ozempic does not make your penis larger. But an erect penis can vary in size depending on time of day, temperature, and factors other than sexual arousal. So, it is probably just that.”
Other Side Effects of Ozempic
This is not the only side effect linked to Ozempic. Recently, some users have reported dental problems known as “Ozempic teeth.” These include dry mouth, bad breath, gum disease, and tooth decay. The drug suppresses appetite, which lowers food intake and reduces saliva production. Less saliva increases the risk of cavities and gum issues. Some users also suffer from nausea or vomiting, which exposes teeth to stomach acid and can damage tooth enamel.
The New York Post reported that doctors have warned about “Ozempic mouth.” This condition shows up as deep folds at the corners of the mouth, wrinkles on the lips, and sagging skin around the lips and chin.
Other complaints include “Ozempic face” and “Ozempic butt.” “Ozempic face” describes a prematurely aged look that some patients develop after rapid weight loss. “Ozempic butt” refers to sagging in the rear area reported by some users.
