Alec Baldwin’s wife, Hilaria, returned to sharing her ‘sexy’ yoga tutorials last Friday. The 41-year-old mother of seven wore sparkly red heels as she demonstrated a yoga move called the moving bridge pose. She renamed it the ‘glute bridge.’
Hilaria, who is 5 feet 4 inches tall, showed her slim figure while explaining the exercise to her 1 million social media followers. She instructed: “Lie on your back, bend your knees, keep your feet hip-width apart. Press into your feet, lift your hips up, then lower them down. Do three sets of 10. Heels optional, obviously!”
Her choice to wear heels during the workout divided opinions on Instagram. User @debbiemerle commented, “You look strange wearing heels to do this.” Another user, @sunisinmyeyes, said, “This is weird.” @tobylyfe wrote, “But really, heels? Come on, LOL!”
Some users found humor in it. Instagram user @carolyn_k_hartman joked with a laughing emoji, “Absolutely heels. Otherwise, it doesn’t do anything.” User @mbk1979 compared the shoes to something from The Wizard of Oz, asking, “What in the Dorothy is happening?” @biancahull.s quoted Glinda the Good Witch, writing, “‘You always had the power, my dear. You just had to learn it for yourself.’”
Hilaria was born Hillary Lynn Hayward-Thomas and used to co-own the yoga studio chain Yoga Vida in New York City with Michael Patton. The studio closed in 2023. This came three years after a controversy in Spain linked to her ADHD and dyslexia.
On June 17, Hilaria and Alec will celebrate their son Rafael’s 10th birthday. Shortly after, on June 30, they will mark their 13th wedding anniversary.
The Baldwins have two nannies who help care for their children: Rafael, 10; Carmen, 11; Leonardo, 8; Romeo, 7; Marilu, 4; Eduardo, 4; and Ilaria, 2.
Alec Baldwin, 66, is also a grandfather to two-year-old Holland. She is the daughter of his eldest child, Ireland Baldwin, from his seven-year marriage to ex-wife Kim Basinger. That marriage ended in 2002.
The couple has not yet heard from TLC about whether their reality show, The Baldwins, will return for a second season. The first season received poor reviews.
Last month, Alec’s film Rust earned only $26,831 at the box office. All the proceeds will go to the late cinematographer Halyna Hutchins’ widower, Matthew Hutchins, and their 12-year-old son, Andros.
Baldwin’s involuntary manslaughter trial ended on July 12 when it was dismissed. Baldwin denied pulling the trigger on the revolver that fired the bullet which injured Rust director Joel Souza and fatally wounded Ukrainian cinematographer Halyna Hutchins in 2021.
On January 9, Baldwin filed a civil lawsuit against the prosecutors, investigators, and commissioners involved in the Rust case. He claims they defamed him and violated his civil rights by mishandling evidence.
The film’s armorer, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, was released from the New Mexico Women’s Correctional Facility on May 23. She served 18 months for involuntary manslaughter due to her role in the shooting.
