EGYM Wellpass, a European corporate fitness and wellness provider, has expanded its services to the U.S. as employee wellness programs become essential for attracting and retaining talent.
This launch follows EGYM’s acquisition of FitReserve, a move that adds a network of boutique fitness studios to the Wellpass platform. This integration provides gyms with a new source of members without relying on costly promotions or heavy marketing. EGYM Wellpass now partners with over 3,500 gyms and fitness studios across the country. Its all-in-one membership model offers employees access to off-site gyms, digital health tools, mindfulness programs, nutrition resources, and mental health apps. Additionally, it provides on-site gym installations for businesses.
The first U.S. launch took place in Colorado, with more regions to be announced soon.
In a recent interview with Athletech News, EGYM co-founder and CEO Philipp Roesch-Schlanderer shared the company’s vision of reshaping fitness and healthcare. “Our goal is to transition healthcare from reactive treatment to proactive prevention,” he said. “We aim to connect corporate fitness, fitness technology, and healthcare, tapping into a market worth over $600 billion globally in the coming years.”
EGYM Wellpass Managing Director Nicolas Stadtelmeyer also highlighted the significance of the U.S. launch. “With the rise of GLP-1 medications, we believe the U.S. is ready for a major shift in corporate wellness,” he said. “Preventative health and workout solutions alongside GLP-1 usage are more important than ever.”
As the company seeks to build momentum in the U.S. market, EGYM Wellpass will showcase its services at the SHRM25 conference later this month in San Diego. Attendees can schedule meetings in advance or visit booth #444 during the event.
“With more companies recognizing the ROI of employee wellness, we believe Wellpass will soon be a standard workplace benefit across the U.S.,” Stadtelmeyer added. “And we’re just getting started.”
