What was meant to be a health and wellness event turned violent during a zumba session at a sports complex in Koronadal City, South Cotabato.
A man was preparing to host the zumba session when a woman suddenly took the microphone from him. She claimed that her group was the only one authorized by the provincial local government unit (LGU) to hold the session.
When another zumba group challenged her claim, a commotion broke out. Someone turned off the microphone and took it from the woman. She then grabbed the man’s face, reportedly hitting him.
Soon after, another male zumba instructor arrived. He and the first male instructor began exchanging punches. After some time, the two men calmed down and agreed to make peace.
However, the woman who first took the microphone refused to reconcile.
