A gym in Preston has been closed by police while they carry out an investigation.
Lancashire Constabulary’s Crime Scene Investigation team arrived at Total Fitness on Strand Road this evening (2 June). The gym will remain closed for the rest of the evening while police conduct their work.
The exact nature of the incident that prompted the police response is not yet known. However, officers have been at the scene since around 6:30 pm. Blog Preston has requested an official statement from Lancashire Constabulary.
Several police officers are present, and the building is not open to the public.
Total Fitness posted a message on their app stating: “Due to unforeseen circumstances, the building will remain closed for the rest of the evening. We will provide further updates when possible. Thank you for your cooperation.”
