Snap Fitness is partnering with Spren, a fitness technology company, to bring AI-powered coaching and smartphone-based body scans to more than 1,100 gym locations worldwide.
The collaboration was announced on The Future of Fitness podcast, hosted by industry expert Eric Malzone.
Through this partnership, Snap Fitness members will gain access to real-time body composition analysis using only their smartphones. They will also receive adaptive nutrition plans and AI-driven coaching based on their personal data.
This move is designed to engage the 90% of gym members who do not work with personal trainers. By integrating Spren’s technology into the gym experience, Snap Fitness aims to create more personalized support without the need for new hardware. The body scan takes less than two minutes and provides users with tailored fitness and nutrition guidance.
Gym operators also benefit from new tools to help increase member engagement, boost retention, and offer premium services. Personal trainers can use Spren to extend their reach by developing custom AI personas that support members both in and out of the gym.
Spren reports that its platform can improve gym performance by increasing visit frequency, enhancing member retention, activating more personal training users, and improving lead conversion rates by up to 23%.
