SIRO Hotels is focusing on high-performance travel with its latest venture. Kerzner International, the hospitality operator behind the brand, has introduced its fitness and recovery concept to Porto Montenegro. This marks SIRO’s first property in Europe.
Joining its flagship hotel in Dubai, SIRO Boka Place combines physical training, recovery services, and Mediterranean-inspired nutrition under one roof.
The hotel offers more than just wellness rooms designed for holistic health. SIRO encourages guests to explore the natural surroundings. With a stunning coastal location and mountainous terrain, the property turns nature into an outdoor gym. Guests can enjoy guided nature walks, canyoning adventures, and wakesurfing experiences.
SIRO Boka Place prioritizes rest and recovery. The hotel features a gym equipped by Technogym, a climate-controlled swimming pool, and a full schedule of studio fitness classes.
For the first time, the brand introduces a dedicated Recovery Lab. This facility offers a wide range of treatments such as cryotherapy, red light therapy, IV therapy, vibroacoustic therapy, and compression therapy. Additional services include myofascial cupping, dry needling, and assisted stretching.
The hotel also provides mindfulness spaces designed to help guests relax and recharge. Highlights include a Zen Room with a Himalayan salt wall and recovery pods for quiet reflection and disconnection.
Wellness-focused hospitality continues to grow globally. Competitors like Equinox Hotels, SHA Wellness, and Surrenne are expanding their offerings. SIRO is staking its claim with plans to open new locations in Mexico (2027), Saudi Arabia (2028), and Japan (2029). More announcements are expected later this year.
In summary, wellness hospitality is evolving. Instead of just offering an escape, brands like SIRO aim to enhance travelers’ health and fitness. They target guests who want to improve their performance while on vacation, rather than simply checking out.
