SAN JOSE, Antique — The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) will hold a fun run called “PhilHealth KonSulTa Run Na!” on June 15 in San Jose de Buenavista, Antique.
Virginia Pagnamitan, Officer-In-Charge of PhilHealth Antique, invited residents of Antique to join the run. She said the event is a chance to learn more about PhilHealth’s programs and services.
Pagnamitan explained that the run aims to promote public health and wellness in the province. It also highlights the Konsultasyong Sulit at Tama (KonSulTa) Program. This program is available in all Municipal Health Offices, government hospitals, and a private clinic in Anini-y, Antique.
The fun run will bring together runners, health advocates, families, and communities for a day focused on fitness and health awareness.
PhilHealth thanked local healthcare institutions and government agencies for helping organize the event. They hope the run will increase awareness of preventive healthcare, encourage an active lifestyle, and improve access to medical services for all.
The run will start at CityMall Antique, located behind the New Capitol building. Participants will run to Barangay Dalipe and return to the mall. The total distance is five kilometers.
Registration and gathering begin at 4:00 a.m. The run will start at 6:30 a.m. Registration is free.
Prizes and freebies will be given to winners and participants. Attendees can also visit health booths, get free medical checkups, and join a Zumba activity.
