After a difficult year, Gabe Brown has made his health a top priority.
On June 10, the “Sister Wives” star shared a striking transformation on his Instagram story. He posted before-and-after photos showing his 75-pound weight loss.
“They said I fell off… Oooo I needed that,” the 23-year-old wrote alongside the images.
In the first photo, Brown is shirtless, taking a mirror selfie. In the second, he wears a white tank top and black shorts at the gym, posing to highlight his muscle growth.
Though Gabe has not revealed many details about his weight loss method, he is the latest Brown family member to focus publicly on health. His sister, Mykelti Padron, has also shared updates about her wellness journey over the past year.
The family has faced a tough time following the loss of Gabe’s brother, Garrison Brown, who died by suicide in 2024. Season 19 of “Sister Wives” has documented how they have coped with the tragedy. Gabe was the one who found his brother after he passed, as their mother recently recalled on the show.
Looking back on his brother’s state of mind before his death, Gabe said, “(He) really was so genuine and he didn’t let on to it a lot, but he always felt a lot deeper than he expressed. Everyone in my family knows that.”
In the months before Garrison’s death, both Gabe and his brother were estranged from their father, Kody Brown. Kody addressed the strained relationship in a recent episode of “Sister Wives.”
“There’s so much left unsaid, so much left undone,” he admitted.
Gabe had previously opened up about the rift with his father during Season 18. He explained, “Me and Garrison are at odds with our dad because when we expressed our discontent with how things were going with COVID, I was met with just a wall, there was no line of dialogue (with Kody Brown). I think that was what really drove the wedge between us.”
